Like Tarin said in the scaling crimes post, the end of the set does, in fact, become extremely boring. I think, for the last 30 days, we should have a bootyland olympic games. The contestents wouldn't be specific players, but gangs themselves. It would force them to become more well rounded as the challenges will vary. It would also enhance unity in this game. Every time a gang won a challenge, each player would get a treasure item that would say "Gold Medal for the first event" or something like that. Then second and third place would get silver and bronze.
I was thinking of some possible events/challenges. Some that I came up with, that wouldn't take more than 10 days is,
1. Who can rob Revenger first in 5 days. If no one is successful, it is whoever is the closest scorewise.
2. Every gang leader gets a unique item. all gangs will get the same one. like a golden egg. It can be sent to other gang members through the courier until it closes, but it cannot be auctioned. In 10 days, whichever gang has the most golden eggs through robbing them from other gangs, wins.
3. 2 new crimes are implemented just for this part of the olympics and taken out after. One a single crime, and one a gang crime. They would need to be complex crimes. First gang to complete both in 10 days or less wins. This would require experimenting and teamwork.
4. Each gang sends 4 players to a PvP showdown. This would be tournament style lasting about 5 days. One or two matches each day. If a player loses, they are out. If they win, they move on to the next round. Last man standing wins. Results will be available to everyone.
This would take about 30 days. The last 30 days of the set preferably to make it exciting. Since some of these events will take less than the max amount of time, more events may need to be created. Or, an opening day and closing day show could be watched (short youtube video maybe).
What are your opinions on this idea. Personally, i think it would make the game 10 times funner than it already is. And it is already really fun. It would also give people incentives to play the full set and not quit once it gets boring.
